A pleasure purchase, spaced-out visits
People buy flowers for an occasion or as a treat: customers return, but not every week, and nothing ties them to your shop rather than another.
A card that stays in the phone
The customer scans the QR code at the counter and the card lands in their Wallet. At each purchase you scan it: they see their progress without carrying anything.
How it works at the counter
QR code at the counter
Shown near the till or in the window, it lets the customer add their card in a few seconds while you prepare their bouquet.
Card in the Wallet
Added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, the card is ready for the next purchase, no app to open.
Points at every purchase
Based on the amount spent: the customer sees their progress toward the reward, updated instantly.
What you get
- Points based on the amount: suited to very variable baskets
- Notifications to reach customers before the big dates of the year
- QR code to display at the counter or in the window
- Win-back of customers who have not been in for a while
Why loyalty matters in a flower shop
At a florist, a purchase is often tied to an occasion: a holiday, a birthday, dinner at friends' or simply the wish to put flowers at home. Customers come back, but rarely every week, and nothing ties them to your shop rather than the one down the street or the supermarket's flower aisle.
A loyalty card gives that reason to return. It also does something a paper card cannot: it gives you a way to reach a customer before an important date, instead of waiting for them to think of you.
Points or stamps: which one for a florist?
The basket varies enormously: a single stem, a plant, a bouquet, an arrangement for an event. A stamp worth the same for three euros as for sixty is not fair; points based on the amount spent are. KARD supports points (per visit or per euro spent), stamps or both, adjustable from the dashboard.
The examples below are starting points to adapt to your footfall and your margin, not figures to copy.
- Points: one point per euro spent, a discount or a small plant at a threshold you set.
- Stamps: one stamp per visit, for customers who come every week for their bouquet.
- Both: points for bigger purchases, a visit stamp for small ones.
Low-cost reward ideas
- A small bouquet or a plant after a certain cumulative amount: very visible to the customer, controlled cost for you.
- A discount on the next arrangement, rather than an immediate reduction on the current purchase.
- A free accessory (careful wrapping, vase, plant food) that adds value without cutting into your margin on flowers.
- A birthday message with a small perk, sent automatically from the Pro plan.
- A welcome reward at sign-up, so the first purchase already counts.
Reaching customers before the big dates of the year
Florists have well-known peaks: holidays, ceremonies, seasons. Notifications land directly in the customer's Wallet, with no app to open. You can send them by hand to announce when you take orders or a new delivery, and let the Pro plan's automations nudge a customer who has not been in for a while.
Keep it sober: one useful message once or twice a season beats a stream of promotions that end up ignored.
Launch the program in five steps
- Pick the rule and the reward, and check that they fit in one sentence.
- Create the card with your shop's logo and colors from the dashboard.
- Display the sign-up QR code at the counter or in the window. KARD generates a printable poster.
- Offer the card while you prepare the bouquet: the customer has a few moments, and it is the right time.
- At each purchase, scan the card or search for the customer by name or phone.
Mistakes to avoid
- A reward that cheapens your flowers: favor a small bouquet, a plant or an accessory over a big discount.
- Forgetting to credit a phone order: scan the card at pickup.
- Only mentioning the program to those who ask: the invitation should come from you, while the bouquet is being made.
- Sending too many messages: a few well-chosen notifications are enough.
Measure what the programme changes
The dashboard shows visits, rewards earned and the customers who have not been back for a while. For a florist, that list is what matters: it tells you who to write to before a holiday or a season.
Watch three things: how many cards are created (adoption), how often card-holders come back, and the list of customers who have not returned for several weeks. Detailed analytics are included from the Pro plan. Give it a full month before judging: a loyalty programme is measured on habits, not on one day.
What KARD costs, and what you keep
KARD starts at €29/month (Starter: 1 shop, 2 checkout staff, unlimited customers, Apple and Google Wallet). The Pro plan at €39/month adds automations (win-back messages for inactive customers, birthdays), the dashboard and analytics, unlimited push notifications and full customer history. The Business plan at €59/month covers up to 3 shops with unlimited staff.
There is no commission on your sales, no set-up fee, and a 14-day free trial with no commitment: you can create your card, add it to your own phone and test a checkout before you decide.

How do I set up a loyalty card in a flower shop?
Display a QR code at the counter: the customer scans it and adds their card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. At each purchase you scan the card or search for the customer by name or phone. You choose the reward, for example a discount on a bouquet or a small plant at a points threshold you set.
Points or stamps for a flower shop?
The basket varies a lot from one purchase to the next: a single stem, a bouquet, an arrangement for an event. Points, based on the amount spent, are therefore fairer than stamps. KARD supports both.
Can I reach customers before a holiday or a season?
Yes. You can send a notification to your customers from the dashboard, for example to announce when you take orders before an important date. It lands directly in their Wallet.
Do my customers need an app?
No, the card is added straight to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. A customer without a Wallet uses a mobile web page.
What does it cost?
KARD starts at €29/month (Starter), then €39/month (Pro) and €59/month (Business). 14-day free trial, no commitment, no commission on your sales.
