A membership card in the Wallet
The card is added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet from a QR code or a link, with no app to download. It carries your organisation's name, logo and colours, the member number and the expiry date. A member without a Wallet uses a mobile web page.
When you change the card or its state changes (session used, membership renewed), it updates in the member's phone.
Status and member number
Each member gets a number, shown on their card. You can also define categories (for example “Student”, “Active member”, “Junior”), assigned to members and shown on the card.
Validity: duration or fixed date
Two validity modes: a duration from sign-up (twelve rolling months, for example) or a fixed date for everyone (end of season, end of the academic year). The date is shown on the card, and KARD also flags it natively in the Wallet.
Rechargeable sessions
For gyms, clubs and workshops that sell packs, the card carries a session balance: it is deducted at each visit and topped up at the desk. Members see their balance in their phone. This feature is included in the Club plan.
Front-desk scanning
- One scan to check validity, deduct a session, top up a balance or renew a membership.
- Access for your front-desk staff, protected by a code, without giving them access to the rest of the account.
- A search by name when the member does not have their phone.
Reminders before expiry
KARD warns the member before their subscription ends, to reduce lapses by oversight. Automatic reminders are included in the Club plan.
Bring over your existing members
You do not start from zero: import your current members, then share a “Get my card” link or QR code. Each one adds their card to their Wallet in seconds.
A dashboard to run it
- The list of your members, their status and history.
- Indicators dedicated to membership and a footfall chart by day and hour (depending on the plan).
- Notifications targeted at groups of members, for example those whose membership is about to expire.
- Optional loyalty points, if you want to add a reward dimension.
What KARD Membership costs
The Essentiel plan starts at €19/month: 1 structure, 2 front-desk staff, unlimited members, Apple and Google Wallet and front-desk scanning. The Club plan at €39/month adds rechargeable sessions, automatic reminders before expiry, the dashboard and analytics, up to 3 structures and unlimited staff. A quote-based plan exists for networks.
There is a 14-day free trial with no commitment: you can create your card, add it to your own phone and test a front-desk check-in before you decide. The features included depend on the plan; the detail is on the Pricing page.
Frequently asked questions
Do my members need to install an app?
No. The card is added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet from a QR code or a link. Without a Wallet, the member uses a mobile web page.
Which organisations use KARD Membership?
Gyms, sports clubs, associations, schools and workshops, shared spaces and student unions: any organisation that tracks members with a status, sessions or an expiry date.
Can I manage sessions and an expiry date at the same time?
Yes. You choose how you track members: expiry date, sessions, or both.
What is the difference between loyalty and membership?
Loyalty rewards customers (points, stamps). Membership manages members (status, sessions, validity). KARD offers both, with separate plans.
